Orbit AI is built around a long-term proposition: advanced intelligence should become useful through carefully engineered systems, not remain trapped in isolated demonstrations.

The path begins with a workspace people can understand and rely on. It continues through better models, dependable developer interfaces, permissioned integrations, and agents that can complete well-defined tasks. More ambitious research, including robotics, belongs on that path only when the necessary expertise, safeguards, and evidence exist.

The standard is not whether a concept looks futuristic. The standard is whether it works, whether people can understand its limits, whether it respects their data and authority, and whether its behavior can be tested and improved.

## Document maintenance

This file is a strategic overview, not the source of truth for live release status. Keep version-specific details in release notes and product documentation. Review this document whenever the product scope, safety commitments, or public claims materially change.

Suggested companion documents:

* `PRODUCT_STATUS.md` — current availability and release status.
* `SECURITY.md` — security contact and disclosure process.
* `PRIVACY.md` — current data practices and user controls.
* `CHANGELOG.md` — version-by-version changes.
* `MODEL_CARD_PULSAR.md` — model-specific training, evaluation, and limitations.
* `API_REFERENCE.md` — authoritative API contracts and examples.
* `ROBOTICS_SAFETY.md` — only when a real robotics program and review process exist.

*Last strategic review date: October 2026.*
